The title "Behind Her Eyes" was given to me by yet another member of my Inner Circle [you can join at team.emmagmusic.com/inner-circle-offer], I wanted to base the song loosely on her story, but - hooray for creative license - incorporate a lot of my own stories into this song as well.

So, #triggerwarning, this song might punch you in the feelings a little bit. If it does, I sincerely hope you lean into, and find some strength, hope and resilience from the lyrics here.
